What a lovely time of year to get out and start shooting pictures. The weather is cooperating, the flowers are blooming, the birds will be nesting soon and the mood in general is uplifting. Plenty of opportunities to fulfill all the Club's Assigned Subjects for the year, including April's unusual signs, May's bridges, June's horses and July's water.
The judging of last year's photos has been completed and our Annual Awards Banquet will be held on March 25, 2019.
If you're looking for a Camera Club to join, we meet at St. Theresa's Church in the Western Branch area of Chesapeake, on the second Wednesday of the month, at 7:30 p.m., and would love to have new members. You're also welcome to come by as a guest for a visit any month as well. Drop me a message on the contact page if you have any questions.
What better time of year to get out the camera!?! Long afternoon shadows, beautiful morning light, summer flowers still in bloom while pansies and mums abound. I've also starting seeing some goblins showing up in the neighborhood and before we know it, they'll be knocking on the door wanting candy. Have the batteries charged and ready and keep your camera with you. I bet you'll find something interesting to click on every day this month.
